The U12 Boys team played in Penticton on Sunday against two Vernon teams. Both games were close. The first game was lost 4-2, with Trajan Boyd getting the first goal on a pass from Drew Bannister. The second goal came from Bannister, nicely set up by Gavin Mason and Braedon Ashton. The team saw great goaltending from Khoa Mai, and great defensive play from Tyson Qiodravu and David Bakker.
The second game ended in a 3-3 tie. The first two goals were scored by Andrew Olson, with beautifully executed passes from Mason and Ashton. The final goal came from Ashton, with precision passing from Bannister and Phoenix Goldsmith. Both Nathan Hampton and Mark Carson were solid on defence.
