Tristan Craighead had the lone goal as the Langley Knights fell 5-1 to the Richmond Sockeyes.
The junior B hockey teams squared off at the George Preston Recreation CentreĀ on Oct. 29 with the loss dropping Langley’s record to 2-13-0-1 in the PJHL.
After a scoreless opening period, Richmond scored three times in the second and twice more in the third before Craighead ruined the shutout bid with 91 seconds to play.
The Sockeyes’ Tyler Paterson led the way with a pair of goals.
The Knights were out-shot 41-29.
The two teams meet again Nov. 5, this time in Richmond.
