2017 MEN’S BONSPIEL
The 100 Mile House Curling Club is hosting its 2017 Mens Bonspiel, Jan. 20-22 and folks are urged to come to the clubhouse to see some top-notch curling action.
There will be at least 12 teams, with some from out-of-town.
DINNER AUCTION
The Mica Mountain Riders Association is hosting its Eighth Annual Dinner & Auction Fundraiser at the Iron Horse Pub on Jan. 21.
There will be a silent auction, a 50/50 draw and more. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The $20 tickets are available at Performance All-Terrain, Cariboo Supply & Marine, South Cariboo Motorsports and Exeter Forest & Marine.
SNOWSHOE WALK
The 100 Mile Nordic Ski Society is organizing a snowshoe walk with professional biologist Ken MacKenzie leaving at 10 a.m. (until 1 p.m.) from the 99 Mile Ski Lodge on Jan. 21. The event will have a small fee. Attendees are welcome to bring their own snowshoes or rent them from the club. Trail passes or membership is also required.
