Online registration for the ARFC’s mini rugby program, for kids born in the years 2001 to 2008, is underway at abbotsfordrugby.com.
Additionally, The Originals men’s side kicks off its spring season this Sunday on the road in Victoria. The following Sunday, Feb. 16, they host the Semiahmoo Old Boys at Exhibition Park at 1 p.m.
The Originals are looking for men age 37 and older to join the team. Practices are on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. at DeLair Park, and games are Sundays at 1 p.m. For more information, contact Shawn Rideout at 778-552-0259 or attend a Thursday practice.

The Abbotsford Heat, in partnership with the BC Cancer Foundation (BCCF), are holding their annual Pink in the Rink promotion in conjunction with Sunday’s home game vs. the Texas Stars.
Fans who use the offer code PINK14 on Ticketmaster.ca will have partial proceeds of their ticket donated to the BCCF. Proceeds from the 50/50 draw and chuck-a-puck contest will also go to the BCCF.
The 4 p.m. Sunday game doubles as a Heat Family Day promotion, featuring $2 pop, popcorn and hotdogs, and a post-game skate with the players.

The Abbotsford Aquatics Parent Society is holding a fundraising event at Phoenix Lounge (33780 King Rd.) on Saturday to benefit the Abbotsford Olympians swim team.
Tickets are $20 and include a burger buffet and one beverage. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event will include a silent auction, 50/50 draw and more. Tickets are available at the door while supplies last, or by emailing aapscommunication@gmail.com.
BOXERS LOOKING FOR HOME
The Abbotsford Boxing Academy is seeking an indoor facility.
