Spring has come to Topline Stables, with the April dressage and jumper warm-ups as well as the new and improved Spring Fling Program. April 16 and17 will offer two days of dressage with a $50 high test score prize being offered daily for riders testing at first level and above. In addition, April 16 will be warm-up jumper rounds, and on April 17 they will offer clear rounds. A colt starting and problem-solving demonstration will take place each day at 1 p.m.
Okanagan Rugby underway
The Okanagan Rugby Union is starting to look exactly like that – a union. A trio of new teams from Merritt, West Kelowna and Salmon Arm Yeti have joined the Vernon Jackals and Penticton Harlequins to form a five-team spring league that got underway last weekend.

BC Senior’s Games 55-plus registration will be held at the Mall at Piccadilly on April 9.
The Games will be held in Castlegar, Nelson and Trail, Aug. 16-20.
See historic jersey
The Henderson Jersey Homecoming Tour touches down in Salmon Arm on April 9. Featured will be the jersey worn by hockey icon Paul Henderson when he made the historic winning goal against the Soviet Union in the 1972 Summit Series. The jersey will be on display from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Sunwave Centre.
