The Langley Stampeders close the regular season on Sunday with a shot at first place.
The midget football team defeated the Victoria Spartans 25-7 over the weekend at McLeod Athletic Park.
Devin Dacosta and Sheldon Gangloff scored first-half touchdowns while Nolan McMurchy kicked a field goal.
The Stampeders defence had a solid game all-around, including a goal-line stand on the one-yard line.
The only Victoria points on the afternoon were on a fourth-quarter kick return touchdown.
Langley (8-1) closes the regular season by hosting White Rock on Sunday afternoon at MAP with a 1 p.m. start time.
