The Vancouver Stealth begin the 2016 National Lacrosse League with a home game against the New England Black Wolves on Jan. 9.
The game will feature Langley lacrosse product Garrett Billings, who is a member of the Black Wolves.
All nine of the Stealth home games at the Langley Events Centre will be Saturday nights at 7 p.m.
Some key events will be taking place at the LEC during Stealth games this year. Both the pre-game and post-game festivities will take place in the LEC banquet hall.
The Stealth will celebrate families on Family Day weekend (Feb. 6 versus Colorado) when the “Kids Run the Show.” Young Stealth fans will have the opportunity to get involved, literally, in the Stealth game day production.
And March 19 against Saskatchewan will be Lacrosse on the Move Night featuring a new B.C. themed jersey that will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefitting the Lacrosse on the Move Fund.
The “Stealth Experience” will be back on April 2 against Toronto when minor lacrosse players are invited to stay after the game and participate in a special skills clinic with Stealth players on the turf. Youth players 15 years and under who wear their jerseys to the game will receive a complimentary admission.
