The Langley Olympians Swim Club split in two over the weekend, with one group at the Fast Swim Classic in Richmond while the other hit the pool in Maple Ridge at the Haney Seahorses Holiday Lower Mainland Regional Meet.
The first meet was held over three days with swimmers required to compete in heats and finals.
Bailey Herbert led the way with a pair of gold medals (200 breast, 100 fly) while Joshua Kim came home with four silver medals (50 fly, 400 IM, 50 free, 100 fly).
Chelsea Borrowdale also won multiple medals, taking gold and bronze, respectively,in the 100 breast and 200 breast.
Other medal winners included: Michael Chung (gold, 50 back), Danielle de la Gorgendiere (gold 1500 free), Jenessa Hillman (gold 1500 free), Hillary Metcalfe (gold 200 breast), Dylan Kim (silver 1500 free), Dylan Thomas (silver 1500 free), Reagen Bedard (bronze 100 breast), Luke Stewart-Beinder (bronze 50 fly) and Brooklyn Swaan (bronze 50 breast).
Ayush Kaul achieved 100 per cent personal best in all events.
The Seahorses Holiday meet was timed finals over two days with each swimmer competing in six events.
Isobel McNeill led the way with four gold medals (100 back, 50 breast, 200 IM, 50 back) and a silver (50 free) while Chiari Fiorini had two gold (200 fly, 100 fly) and two bronze (50 fly, 200 free). Madison Belgica came through with four silver medals (100 back, 200 IM, 100 breast and 200 back) and a bronze (100 free).
Other medal winners included Cassidy Fu (gold 100 free, silver 50 free), Mia Goretic (gold 200 back, silver 50 back, 100 back, bronze 100 free), Sophia Adrian (silver 200 fly) and John Kim (silver 100 back).
McNeill and Kim also qualified for the provincial AA championships in February while Goretic qualified for the AAA championships in March.
