Surrey’s David McHardy placed third overall, and first in the modified class, at the World Championship Bathtub Race held in Nanaimo on July 22.
McHardy, a former bathtub race champion, is a perennial entry. The former champ finished the race in one hour, 25 minutes, 49 seconds.
