On Wednesday, the Syilx boys and girls defeated Van City and the Gingolx Storm 65-56 and 60-36 respectively. The At’maakw Junior girls defeated Haisla (Kitamaat Village) 48-44, while Nlaka’pamux defeated Friendship House 31-30 and Ahousat defeated NCN Lady Warriors (Port Alberni) 73-52. Thursday action had the Gingolx defeat Ahousat 60-52 and Haisla defeated Nlaka’pamux Cougars (Lytton) 52-44.  Haisla faced Gingolx Storm.

In boys action, the Syilx plays Lax Kw’alaams Hoyas.

Other tournament action on Wednesday had the At’maakw Junior girls defeated Haisla (Kitamaat Village) 48-44, while Nlaka’pamux defeated Friendship House 31-30 and Ahousat defeated NCN Lady Warriors (Port Alberni) 73-52. Thursday action had the Gingolx defeat Ahousat 60-52 and Haisla defeated Nlaka’pamux Cougars (Lytton) 52-44.  Haisla faced Gingolx Storm. The Hoyas from Prince Rupert defeated the Skidegate Saints (Queen Charlotte Islands)  53-52 and Homiss (west Vancouver Island) easily defeated Prince Rupert 85-56. Ahousat Wolfpack (Clayqout Sound) defeated Gitxsan Elite 66-64 and Homiss defeated the Saints 75-53. Homiss was scheduled to play the winner of Van City and Gitxsan Elite. The boys championship game is Friday at 1 p.m. at Pen High Secondary, while the girls is also Friday at Pen High Secondary at 2:45 p.m.
