The UBC Thunderbirds football program has officially landed six recruits from Abbotsford high schools.
The T-Birds, who unveiled their entire 2014-15 freshman class last week, signed Robert Bateman Timberwolves defensive back Tanner Friesen and Rick Hansen Hurricanes offensive lineman Harjot Ghuman late in the recruiting process.
They join four other locals whose signings by UBC had been previously reported by The News: Hansen siblings Brandon (linebacker) and Alex (quarterback) Ho, Bateman running back Ben Cummings, and Mouat defensive lineman Levi Hua.
