T-men captain teaches youths

Scott Ranger, reigning MVP of the Western Lacrosse Association, is hosting Ranger Lacrosse Camp from July 9-12 at the Nanaimo Ice Centre.

The league’s leading scorer is happy to show youngsters how it’s done. Scott Ranger, the Nanaimo Timbermen captain and reigning MVP of the Western Lacrosse Association, is hosting Ranger Lacrosse Camp from July 9-12 at the Nanaimo Ice Centre. He hopes to share his love of the game.

“So they see how passionate I am about the sport and how much time and effort I put into it,” he said.

Camp runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. each day and costs $175, or $225 for extended time.
