This July and August Wendy Toyer, Executive Director of the ALS Society of BC, has travelled across the province to personally thank each golf professional who participated in the PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS. On dates throughout June golf pros golfed as many holes as possible to raise awareness and funds for ALS patients; many pros beginning their golf marathon at dawn and not stopping until well after dusk. Last Friday she completed the Vancouver Island portion of her thank you visits stopping by Crown Isle Golf Resort ( first attachment Wendy with Jason Andrew), Glacier Greens Golf Course( Pieter de la Rey and Bill Kelly ) and Comox Golf Club ( Wendy with Doug Petrie). These three courses managed to raise over $4000 for ALS patient services and golfed a combined total of 1266 holes!
