Abbotsford tennis standout Rosie Johanson has earned an ACE (Achieving Community Excellence) Award from ViaSport B.C.
The ACE Awards are presented to a select group of Team B.C. athletes every year, and acknowledge individuals who use leadership skills honed through sport to give back to the community.
Johanson, 14, has won tennis tournaments at the provincial, national and international levels. She also volunteers her time as an assistant coach at training camps, and is described as humble, gracious and a great leader for girls in her sport.
