The Langley Thunder begin the Western Lacrosse Association regular season with a trio of road games.
The Thunder start with games in Coquitlam (May 17), New Westminster (May 22) and Maple Ridge (May 25) before playing their home opener at the Langley Events Centre on May 28.
The opponent in that game will be Maple Ridge.
Langley won the WLA regular season title in 2013 but fell in the league finals to the Victoria Shamrocks.
All nine of the Thunder’s home games are on Wednesday evenings.
The full 18-games schedule wraps up on July 30 for the Thunder.

The Thunder also announced an expanded role for Les Wingrove, who will now serve as one of the team’s governors as well as taking over as the assistant general manager.
That role was previously held by Gerry Van Beek. Van Beek had been with the club for eight years in a variety of roles — including coach, assistant coach, assistant general manager, general manager and governor — before stepping aside.
