Trail native Craig Cunningham has signed a one-year deal with the Arizona Coyotes the team announced on Friday.
Cunningham, 25, played 10 games with the Coyotes last season before playing the bulk of the year with the American Hockey League’s Springfield Falcons.
He scored 22 goals and 46 points in 60 games with the Falcons, the Coyotes AHL affiliate.
Coyotes general manager John Chayka said on the team’s website that Cunningham signed a one-year two-way contract. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Cunningham was drafted in the fourth round by the Boston Bruins in the 2010 draft. He has played 63 NHL games in his career with three goals and eight points.
