The Langley bantam C4 Traktors struck for their fourth gold medal this season.
The most recent victory came at the Shuswap Cup in Salmon Arm March 3 to 5.
The Traktors beat the Salmon Arm Legends 6-1 in the final.
The Legends used some strong goaltending to keep the score close but after giving Langley multiple man-advantage opportunities, the Traktors made them pay.
The win capped off a dominating weekend for the Langley squad as they trailed just once the entire tournament and outscored their foes a combined 40-9.
It capped off a fantastic showing for the squad as their smallest margin of victory was three goals, defeating the Kelowna Kings 8-2, doubling the Salmon Arm Saints 6-3 and then hammering the Kamloops Leprechauns 13-0 to close pool play.
In the semifinals, Langley defeated the Kelowna Leafs 7-3 with goaltender Van Dayton delivering five or six highlight reel saves in the victory.
Throughout the tournament Traktors were lead offensively by Henry Brawdy’s 18 goals and as always, strong two-way play by the forwards and a rock-steady defence lead by captain Ryan Davie and Logan Schigas. Geoff Chattel proved a difference maker in the final icing the game with a bomb from the point. Dayton King and Trevor James did much of the heavy lifting for Traktors throughout the weekend wearing down the opposition.
Other winners include Adam Gjesdal, Keith Stanworth, Gavin Drake, Jonathan Lennox, Lucas Guiotto, Sean Wade and Kyson Burgart.
The Traktors are coached by Chris Brawdy, Mike Schigas and Steve Gilray.
