Victoria’s Brandon Glover of the Calgary Hitmen has been named the WHL Goaltender of the Month for November.
The 19-year-old, who previously played for the Moose Jaw Warriors and major midget South Island Thunderbirds, posted a 6-1 record in November with a 1.96 goals-against average and 0.933 save percentage.
Glover’s play helped the Hitmen to a 9-4-1-0 record during that time. The Hitmen are currently with 15-11-1-1, seventh overall in the Eastern conference.
Moose Jaw originally drafted Glover in the sixth round of the 2007 WHL draft.
The Victoria Royals host the Hitmen on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
