Team from Langley's Willowbrook Lanes will represent B.C. at national 5 pin youth national championships in May



It was a golden time for a team of Langley bowlers from Willowbrook Lanes.

The quartet of Benjamin Copeland, Jacob Garcia, Dylan Patterson and Jayden Allgaier-Hassan teamed up for a score of 3,166 to win gold in the junior boys division.

They were competing at the Youth Bowl Canada 5 Pin provincial finals, which were co-hosted by Langley’s Willowbrook Lanes and Surrey’s Scottsdale Lanes. It was held on Saturday.

With their victory, the team — coached by Michael Linsenmeier — will represent B.C. at the national championships in May.

Langley’s Brandon Braithwaite and Jacob Dooley — coached by Garry Monahan — captured the bronze medal in the bantam boys division with a score of 1,195.
