Revelstoke Minor Hockey stands the chance of winning $100,000 after longtime volunteer Dennis Berarducci was named one of 100 finalists in the Kraft Hockey Goes on contest.
The contest will see $1 million distributed to minor hockey organizations across Canada. Communities across the country were invited to nominate one volunteer to represent their minor hockey association.
In Revelstoke, Berarducci was the nominee. He has been volunteering as an announcer for Revelstoke Minor Hockey for decades.
The five grand prize winners will received $100,000 for their minor hockey association of choice. There will also be 20 second place prizes of $20,000 each.
