The Langley Warriors offence was in fine form over the weekend as the senior B lacrosse team struck for a combined 37 goals in a pair of victories.
The Warriors improved to 3-1 in the West Coast Senior Lacrosse Association.
Playing in their home opener on Saturday at the George Preston Recreation Centre, Langley avenged their lone loss of the young season, defeating the Victoria Wolves 17-12.
Ahead by a pair after 40 minutes, Langley scored five straight to open the third and put the game out of reach.
The offence was led by the quartet of Jordan Flaman, Brad Olson, Geordie Wells and Bryan Poole as they combined for all 13 goals and 18 assists.
Flaman had seven goals and a dozen points while Olson scored twice and set up five others. Wells scored four times and Poole set up eight goals.
Brandon Bull (two goals, one assist), Derek Lowe (one goal, four assists) and Chris Martin (one goal) also found the back of the net. Joe Bell made 24 saves for the win.
Playing the next night in Coquitlam a the Poirier Sport and Leisure Complex, the Warriors offence continued their onslaught.
Langley was down 3-1 late in the first period but scored four times in the final 4:04 before intermission and never looked back in the 20-8 victory over the Adanacs.
Flaman continued his hot run with another eight goals and dozen points while Wells (five goals, one assist) and Poole (two goals, six assists) also had big games. Tanner Olson (one goal, three assists), Ian Poole (one goal, two assists), Mike Bosch (one goal, one assist), Kerry Susheski (one goal, one assist) and Martin (one goal) had the rest of the offence.
Bell made 22 saves for his second win of the weekend.
The Warriors are back in action on May 26 when they host the Nanaimo Timbermen at the Preston Centre. Game time is 8 p.m.
