Love hockey and want to promote reading?

Then next Friday’s Langley Rivermen junior A hockey game is perfect for you.

For every ticket sold to Langley’s game on Friday, Nov. 4 at the George Preston Recreation Centre, the Rivermen will buy a book for the Wrap-a-Read program.

The program provides a new book to children whose families are registered with the Langley Christmas Bureau.

In 2015, Wrap-a-Read provided 1,661 books to Langley children.

The Rivermen host the Surrey Eagles on Nov. 4 with puck drop at 7:15 p.m.
