Xtreme bronzed in Summerland

Langley U14 rep girls softball team finds the podium for second time in as many tries

For the second time this month, the Langley Xtreme ’03 has found themselves on the podium.

The U14 girls rep B softball team was competing over the weekend in Summerland and once again, the group snagged the bronze medal.

The Xtreme finished third at the tournament after hammering the Fraser Valley Venom ’03 10-2 in the bronze medal game.

Langley had finished third in their pool with wins over Prince George Thunderbirds ’02/03 squad and Fraser Valley Venom. They tied the Vancouver Wildcats ’03 and lost to the Ridge Meadows Rage ’03.

In the semifinals, the Xtreme lost 8-0 to the Wildcats.
