Dr. Eva and his wife Queen, along with three of their five children cut the cakes prepared by Jeanie Williams and April Earle. Cake and refreshments were enjoyed by approximately 100 in attendance of the farewell party held  for Dr. Eva on Wednesday, July 23.

The Trubador, Allan Kovaltsenko and  Corry Oerlemans opened concert season at Veterans Square in the gazebo on Saturday, July 5. About a dozen residents enjoyed the afternoon of music under the shade of the trees in Veterans Park.

Summer concerts begin in Veterans Square

Each Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m., during July and August an outdoor concert will be held at the gazebo in Veterans Square.

Mary and her team won Bronze in Bocce at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games 2014.  Mary has also earned two Provincial Gold medals in Bocce. Congratulations Mary and the Penticton Pirates!
Slowly, consistently and with extreme caution, crane operator Grant Davies lifts a 33 tonne piece of conveyor which will feed rock to the largest cone crusher in western Canada. The lift is the biggest that has taken place on the Copper Mountain Mine site to date. Davies is accompanied by a crew of two in motorized lifts and four on the ground to assist with the lift process.

Love in Motion Tour appreciates Princeton

Princeton Exhibition and Racing Days Associations honour the memory of long time member and former president, John Bey.

Racing Days hosts family fun weekend

Although there was no thoroughbred racing held this year, the Princeton Racing Days Association hosted a weekend full of great events.

During the Princeton Racing Days events this past weekend, Lana Anderson, Jen Gibson, Karrie Crucil and Cindy Rouchon provided spectators with their version of the Klootchman Race ~ winner was Cindy Rouchon.
Inspired by the natural landscape of the area, Mark and Bettina Wong created the design for the first sidewalk patio in Princeton. The Wong’s worked with the Town in order to adhere to safety standards and came up with an idea that was suitable and that both Thomasina and Jerome say they, “just love.”

The swift moving water of the Similkameen River claimed the life of 23 year old Scott Fechner
